St. Andrew`s Church (Colne Engaine)

St. Andrew`s Church is the parish church of the North Essex village of Colne Engaine.

The nave is Norman, and has a considerable amount of reused Roman brick.

In the chancel there are a doorway and a blocked window dating from the 13th century.

The West tower is 14th century, but with 16th century brick additions at the top.

There is also a brick South porch, with a timber gable.
