Cardiff Central Station (Cardiff)

Cardiff Central Station is one of the railway stations serving Cardiff, the capital of Wales.

It was an amalgamation of Cardiff General and Cardiff Riverside.

Oher stations are Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Bay.

Trains from London leave from Paddington Station, and arrive by way of Reading, Swindon and Newport (Gwent).

They continue to Bridgend, Port Talbot and Swansea.

Another line runs to Barry Island, and another to Penarth.

A further line runs to Cardiff Queen Street, and then splits into various lines, Treherbert, Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil, Coryton and Rhymney.

Other former stations include Cardiff Docks and Cardiff Parade.
