Dutch Cottage Museum (Canvey Island)
The Dutch Cottage Museum is a fascinating attraction at Canvey Island in Essex.
It is situated at Northwick Corner.
The museum is housed in a 17th century cottage which was built by one of the workmen employed on Jonas Croppenburgh`s extensive land reclamation scheme.
The cottage is similar to a better known one a few miles away at Rayleigh.
The museum is of local history, including farm implements.
