King`s School (Canterbury)
The King`s School is a famous educational establishment in the ancient cathedral city of Canterbury, and probably one of the best known public schools in the land, dating from the 12th century.
Situated within the precincts of Canterbury Cathedral, it has a large courtyard, known as Green Court, at its centre. Many of the classrooms are housed in the old monastery buildings along the North side.
There is a beautiful external staircase on the North West corner, which is one of the most famous pieces of Norman architecture in England.
