Pembroke College (Cambridge)

Pembroke College is one of the many colleges that together make up the world famous Cambridge University.

It is situated in Trumpington Street.

The college was founded in around 1340 by the widow of Aylmer de Valence, Earl of Pembroke.

There are a number of different architectural styles, including Christopher Wren`s first known work, Pembroke Chapel.
