Newnham College (Cambridge)
Newnham College is one of the many colleges that together make up Cambridge University.
It is situated in Sidgwick Avenue.
One of the more recent colleges, it was founded in 1871 as the second women`s college, after Girton.
Much of the architecture is by Basil Champneys, and the garden was designed by Gertrde Jekyll.
