Cambridge Station (Cambridge)

Cambridge Station is the railway station that serves the university city of Cambridge.

It was designed by Francis Thompson and opened in 1847.

Trains from London leave from Liverpool Street Station and arrive by way of Stratford (Essex), Harlow and Bishops Stortford.

They continue to Ely, Downham Market and Kings Lynn.

Another line runs to Newmarket, Bury St. Edmunds and Ipswich.

Another goes to Royston, Letchworth and Hitchin.

There was once another line that ran to Potton, Sandy and Bedford.
