Bury St. Edmunds Station (Bury St. Edmunds)

Bury St. Edmunds Station serves the historic Suffolk town of Bury St. Edmunds.

It is itself one of the most handsome stations on the rail network, and is situated on the edge of the town.

Trains go to Bury St. Edmunds from Liverpool Street Station in London, via Chelmsford, Colchester and Ipswich.

They continue to Ely and Peterborough.

In former times, another line ran South to Lavenham, Long Melford and Sudbury, while another went North to Thetford.
