Pitsford Reservoir (Brixworth)

Pitsford Reservoir is a wildlife reserve at Brixworth in Northamptonshire.

It is a mixed landscape of woodland, scrub, grasslands, marginal vegetation and open water.

Numbers of wildfowl can exceed 10,000, including grebes, geese, coot, swan and 14 different kinds of duck.

In addition, there are more than 340 species of macromoth and 280 species of fungi.
