Peel Park (Bradford)

Peel Park is a historic park at Bradford.

The main entrance is in Bolton Road.

Covering 58 acres, Peel Park was given to the people of Bradford in 1863.

It features high quality floral and landscaped areas, an ornamental lake, and sporting facilities.

There is an avenue of one hundred trees, planted by the Lord Mayor and schoolchildren in 1997 to celebrate the City of Bradford`s centenary.

Along a promenade in the centre of the park are the statuettes Spring and Autumn, given by the Band of Hope in 1877.
