St. Giles Church (Blaston)

St. Giles is the parish church of the little village of Blaston in High Leicestershire.

Standing at the entrance to the village, it was built in 1878 and designed by Rev G. C. Fenwicke, who also paid for the building work.

This church replaced a small church which had been built in 1714.

The present church has a nave and a small apsidal chapel.

Also in the village are the remains of the earlier St. Michael`s Church.
