Bouskell Park (Blaby)

Bouskell Park is a public park in the Leicestershire village of Blaby, a little to the South of Leicester.

It can be entered from Welford Road, and was opened in the 1990s.

The park was formed out of the grounds of Blaby Hall, which is situated slightly to the North, close to All Saints Church.

It contains the remains of a deserted mediaeval village, or more properly a relocated village, being the original settlement of Blaby. Holloways and house platforms can be easily made out.

Also in the park is the ice house serving Blaby Hall.
