All Saints Church (Birchington)

All Saints Church is the parish church of Birchington on the Isle of Thanet in Kent.

Built of flint pebbles, it dates back to the 13th century, and has an Early English tower.

In the churchyard are many handsome 18th century tombstones.

By the South door is buried the pre-Raphaelite painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti, who died in 1882. It was designed as a Celtic cross by his friend and fellow pre-Raphaelite Ford Madox Brown.
