Herschel Museum of Astronomy (Bath)

The Herschel Museum of Astronomy is a fascinating attraction in the elegant city of Bath.

It is situated in New King Street, in the city centre.

A Georgian town house, it was home to the astronomer William Herschel and was where he discovered the planet Uranus in 1781.

The house now contains the Star Vault Astronomy Auditorium, and there is a charming Georgian garden.
