Ayr Station (Ayr)

Ayr Station is the railway station that serves the ancient town of Ayr on the Firth of Clyde.

It is the third station here, the railway having arrived in 1840.

Trains come from Glasgow, by way of Paisley, Irvine and Troon.

They continue to Maybole, Girvan and Stranraer.

A branch line formerly ran to Auchincruive, Tarbolton and Mauchline.
