Auld Kirk (Alloway)
The Auld Kirk is the old church at Alloway, the village in Scotland famous for its connections wih Robert Burns, who was born there.
It is situated beside a modern church.
Burns himself was baptised at the Auld Kirk, and his father was buried there.
In Burns` poem "Tam o`Shanter", Tam watches a wiches` orgy through the East window of the Auld Kirk, before fleeing for his life.
