St. Machar`s Cathedral Transepts (Aberdeen)

St. Machar`s Cathedral Transepts constitute one of the most fascinating historic aspects of the city of Aberdeen.

The core of the original St. Machar`s remains in use as Aberdeen Cathedral, but the ruined transepts are in the care of Historic Scotland.

In the South transept is the outstanding 16th century altar tomb of Bishop Dunbar.
