Provost Skene`s House (Aberdeen)

Provost Skene`s House is a historic building in Aberdeen.

It is situated in Guestrow, off Broad Street in the City Centre.

The house was built in the 16th century, and is a rare example of early burgh architecture.

Very fine room settings include a suite of Georgian rooms, an Edwardian nursery, as well as wood panelling and plaster ceilings dating from the 17th century.

There is also a collection of religious paintings.

Provost Skene`s House is owned by Aberdeen City Council.
