Pant

Pant is a former mining village in South Wales, on the outskirts of Merthyr Tydfil.

It is overlooked by what is left of the mighty Morlais Castle, built by Gilbert de Clare in the 13th century. Of the buildings only one room now remains.

Pant is known today as being the Southern terminus of the restored Brecon Mountain Railway.
