Burton-on-the-Wolds
Burton-on-the-Wolds is a village in Leicestershire, 4 miles from Loughborough and on the Wolds.
Burton Hall was built around 1740, and in the late 18th century became a hunting lodge. It is now a nursing home.
The village does not have a parish church, but does have a Methodist chapel.
Nearby are earthworks of a grange of Garendon Abbey.
