Bedworth is an old market town in Warwickshire, 5 miles from Coventry.
At the onset of the Industrial Revolution, it became a mining town, while retaining its earlier industry as a silk weaving centre.
In the Market Place are almshouses dating from 1840.
There are weavers` cottages in Mill Street.
