Exeter (A Coach Trip in Exeter)

"Exeter" is one of the popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.

These trips are a most enjoyable way of getting to know some Local History.

The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 8am, and is expected to return at about 9pm.

Colin gives his usual commentary along the way, bringing to life the many places and sights encountered along the route. This is one of the things that make Colin`s excursions quite unique.

Exeter is an ancient cathedral city in South Devon, and was the furthest town that the Romans built in the South West. The surviving stretches of City Wall are Roman. Today it is also a thriving regional administrative and shopping centre.

During the trip, Colin leads a Guided Walk around Exeter, in his own inimitable manner, pointing out many places of interest, including Exeter Cathedral, Rougemont Castle, Mols Coffee House and the Guildhall.
