What I Did in Southchurch
Southchurch is a former village which is now a suburb of Southend, my home town.
When I was little, I spent some nights in my Aunt`s house at Southchurch.
Then, when I became interested in cricket, I spent many days watching Essex play at Southchurch Park.
I also went to a circus that pitched up across the road from the park.
And as a teenager, I saw a film at the Plaza Cinema.
