Travel Trade Britain
I went to a new travel trade show recently at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) at Birmingham.
This was set up to fill the gap left when a long standing show came to an end last year.
Although there are plenty of people in London who resent the suggestion that this type of show should be held anywhere other than London, this is probably the best location for people from all over the country.
It is actually easy to get to from London, with a railway station in the complex, and just as easy from the North of England.
As always, I was able to talk to people from lots of interesting places, including Ironbridge; Melton Mowbray: Rochester: and Torquay.
I am happy to say that the dates have been set for next year already.
