Tony Curtis, a huge box office star of the cinema, has died aged 85.
A very popular star and a very good actor indeed, Tony Curtis attracted front page stories with his demise, being held in such high esteem.
Personally, I would like to say that he starred (as it happens alongside Jack Lemmon in both cases) in two of the films guaranteed to make me laugh - "Some Like It Hot" and the sublime but much less known "The Great Race".
Tony Curtis brightened the lives of millions.
