Talk on Terraced Houses
I went recently to another meeting of the Community History Network at the Central Lending Library in Leicester.
The network is open to local people who are interested in any aspect of loacl history.
This time, the talk was by Colin Hyde, who spoke eloquently on the Victorian terraces of Leicester, and their various idiosyncracies.
I will myself be giving the next talk to the network. It will be one of my seasonal talks, "The Holly and the Ivy", about Christmas customs.
