Talk by Cinema Projectionist
I went to a talk recently at the Central Library in Leicester, as part of their "Library Club" series.
The talk was by Phil Rosen, and was entitled "My Weird Life as a Cinema Projectionist".
This was obviously of particular interest to me, in view of my own long career managing cinemas and theatres (mostly cinemas) in various parts of the country, dating back to 1963.
Phil talked about his six years as a cinema projectionist in Lancashire. He has recently had a book of reminiscences published.
