Rose Fair at Wisbech
I went recently, as a passenger, on one of the Coach Trips run by Woods Coaches of Leicester.
This is the splendid company from whom I hire coaches for my own popular excursions.
On this occasion, the trip was to Wisbech, the attractive riverside town in Cambridgeshire, for their annual Rose Fair. This event involves lots of flower arrangements in the parish church, as well as charity stalls in the very pleasant adjacent gardens.
I did avail myself of the coffee and cakes that were being served in the church hall. Very nice too.
From Wisbech, we went on to Hunstanton, for a breath of clean and fresh sea air.
Once again, it was a very enjoyable day.
