Darren and David Return to Grace Road
Another meeting of the splendid Leicestershire Cricket Society took place at Grace Road recently.
This time the speakers were Darren Maddy and David Millns, both of whom were part of the Leicestershire team which won the County Championship in 1996 and 1998.
Darren, opening bat, change bowler and superb fielder, played for England. He still plays for Warwickshire.
David, fast bowler and good batsman, was on the fringe of England selection, but injury kept him out of the side. He is now a respected umpir.
It was good to be able to chat to both these chaps again.
