Christmas Meal at Grace Road
My wife Anne accompanied me to Grace Road in Leicester for the annual Christmas Meal organised by Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
Although I have been a member of the club for best part of twenty years now, and spend as much time as possible watching cricket in the Summer, this was the first time I had been able to get to this function.
The meal was very good (as expected) and the company was very good (as expected). One of the people on our table was the former Leicestershire fast bowler Terry Spencer. I was pleased to meet him.
And it`s not long now until cricket starts again. Hurrah!
