Christmas Lunch at Grace Road
My wife Anne came with me to Leicestershire County Cricket Club`s Christmas Lunch at Grace Road recently.
I have been a member for around twenty years now, and it`s great to be able to keep in touch during the close season. It was the second year running that we had been to this event. Good food too!
During the proceedings, Will Jefferson interviewed Matthew Boyce about his famous walk from John o` Groats to Land`s End, raising money for MIND and for the Professional Cricketers` Association benevolent fund. Well done, Matt!
And on a lighter note, Matt and I assisted Dave Goodacre in the leading of community singing.
Not long now until the season starts!
