RAF Cosford (A Coach Trip in Cosford)
"RAF Cosford" is one of the very popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These excursions are a wonderful way to soak up some Local History.
RAF Cosford is a fascinating museum of aircraft and spacecraft, with exhibits large and small. It is situated not far from Telford New Town.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 8am, and is due back about 9pm.
In addition to the aircraft and spacecraft, the site now contains the Cold War Museum, highlighting the terrifying period after the Second World War when the United States and the Soviet Union appeared to be always on the brink of nuclear war.
Colin gives his usual inimitable commentary along the way, bringing to life the many fascinating sights and places.
