Norwich (A Coach Trip in Norwich)

"Norwich" is a Coach Trip devised and led by Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours, the well-known Blue Badge Guide.

These excursions are a most enjoyable way of soaking up some Local History.

The coach departs from St. Margarets Bus Station in the centre of Leicester at 8am, and returns at about 9pm.

Colin gives his usual commentary on the way, explaining interesting sights and places encountered on the journey. This is one of the aspects that make Colin's trips unique.

Norwich is a lovely and most historic cathedral city on the River Wensum. It has a beautiful cathedral, an impressive Norman castle and an enormous Market Place. In addition, the city has over thirty mediaeval churches.

Colin leads a Guided Walk around Norwich in his own inimitable style, pointing out many places of interest, including Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle, the Market Place, Pulls Ferry and Elm Hill.

He also discusses such phenomena as Kempe's Jig, the Norwich School of Painters, Julian of Norwich, Robert Kett's rebellion and Colman's Mustard.
