Norfolk Lavender (A Coach Trip in Norfolk)

"Norfolk Lavender" is one of the popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.

These excursions are a most enjoyable way of soaking up some Local History.

Norfolk Lavender is a giant lavender farm at Heacham in Norfolk, near Hunstanton, and is in fact the largest lavender growing and distilling operation in Britain.

The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 8am, and is due back about 9.30pm.

It is a delightful and fragrant place to visit, and the air has its own beauty due to the lavender fragrance.

The trip includes a tour of the lavender fields, only possible on a coach, and the cost of this is included in the price.

Colin gives his usual commentary on the coach on the way to Heacham, bringing the fascinating towns and villages to life.

After leaving Norfolk Lavender, there is a visit to the historic old town of Kings Lynn.
