Mysterious Leicestershire Tour (A Coach Trip in Leicestershire)

[An image showing Mysterious Leicestershire Tour]The "Mysterious Leicestershire Tour" is one of many Coach Trips run throughout the year by the well known Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.

These excursions are a very good way of soaking up some Local History.

This is one of the morning trips, popular with people who would rather be out for only half the day.

The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 9.30am, and is expected back about 2pm.

The format for these morning excursions is that one stays on the coach for almost the whole time, while Colin gives his inimitable commentary. However, about halfway round, a stop is made at a nice place, where one can indulge oneself by buying coffee, tea, cakes etc.

This particular trip looks at some of the more mysterious aspects of the Leicestershire countryside, such as deserted villages and connections with the Knights Templar and Isaac Newton.

Dates, costs and where to meet
