Lincolnshire Borders Tour (A Coach Trip in Leicestershire)
The "Lincolnshire Borders Tour" is one of the very popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These tours are a wonderful way of soaking up some Local History.
The format for the morning trips is that one stays on the coach for most of the time, while Colin gives his inimitable commentary, pointing out places and sites encountered along the way. About half way round, however, there is a stop, where tea, coffee, cakes etc can be bought. This is always at a pleasant and interesting place in its own right.
On this trip, we will be exploring the countryside around the borders between Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, including the lovely Vale of Belvoir.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester at 9.30am, and is expected back about 2pm.
