Kenilworth and the Heart of England (A Coach Trip in Warwickshire)

"Kenilworth and the Heart of England" is one of the highly popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.

These excursions are an excellent way to soak up some Local History.

This is one of the trips that run on a Sunday afternoon, leaving people with the option of doing something else, such as going to church, on the Sunday morning.

The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 1pm and is expected back at about 8pm.

Colin gives his usual commentary along the way, bringing life to the interesting places that are encountered during the tour. This is one of the aspects that make Colin`s trips unique.

The tour takes in some of the lovely countryside and historic towns in Willim Shakespeare`s county, Warwickshire, with its world famous River Avon.

There is a stop for a couple of hours at Old Kenilworth. This picturesque town has the largest castle ruins in England, as well as Abbey ruins, a splendid church and a very pretty main street.
