Ely (A Coach Trip in Ely)
“Ely” is a Coach Trip devised and led by the well-known Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
Colin's excursions are an ennjoyable way of learning some Local History.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 8am, and returns about 9.30pm.
Colin will be giving his usual commentary along the way.
Ely is a lovely market town and cathedral city on the Isle of Ely in Cambridgeshire, on the River Great Ouse.
The Cathedral is one of the most outstanding in England, and is a landmark for many miles around.
Colin will be leading a Guided Walk around Ely, pointing out many places of interest, including Ely Cathedral, Oliver Cromwell’s house, the old Bishop’s Palace, Ely Porta and the lovely waterside area.
