Autumn Colours Tour (A Coach Trip in Leicestershire)

"Autumn Colours Tour" is one of the very popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritge Tours.

These excursions are a most enjoyable way of getting to know some Local History.

This trip is one of the morning ones, suitable for everybody of course, but particularly appreciated by those who would rather not be out all day.

The coach departs from St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 9.30am, and is due back about 2pm.

The format for the morning trips is that one stays on the coach for almost the whole tour, while Colin gives his inimitable commentary, but about halfway round, usually about 11.30am, there is a stop at a place of interest, where tea, coffee, cakes etc can be purchased.

This particular tour aims to show the trees in their Autumnal finery, with those lovely gold and russet colours.

The tour runs largely through the Charnwood Forest area, with its spectacular granite outcrops and secluded valleys.

Colin also leads a full day tour in Auumn each year through wooded areas around the country.
